We are trying to raise £2,000 for a cranial helmet for our baby son Mac, who suffers from a condition called plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome). Plagiocephaly causes Mac to have a deformed head shape and mis-aligned ears, which can lead to problems in the future such as eye sight and jaw problems, problems wearing glasses or safety helmets, not to mention potential bullying.
Please donate now. By clicking on the "Donate Now >" button you can send Mac a £1 donation, if you are feeling generous you can adjust the quantity and send more
Plagiocephaly
Plagiocephaly (pronounced play-geeo-keff-ally in uk) is far more common than people think, Great Ormond Street hospital have estimated as many as 1 in 2 babies have some degree of the condition.
The NHS do not like paying for these helmets as they see the problem as cosmetic! Think about how many times you have heard of nose jobs, tummy tucks, boob jobs etc etc being paid for by the NHS?
Donation
All we ask is for a small donation or whatever you feel you can afford to help us reach our target as every bit counts.
